A conversation on how we nourish ourselves

Rae and The Wing collaborated to host conversation about nutrition and self-love.

When it comes to keeping it REAL, there’s nothing more refreshing than a good, honest conversation with your inner circle of women – whether that be your sister, friends or work wife. To honor that tradition, Rae and The Wing hosted a conversation for women about how to nourish yourself and foster true self-love.  And this conversation wasn’t about the superficial (ie your skincare routine and taking a bubble bath).  It was about digging deeper to find your truth, and encouraging all of us to take the time (mentally, spiritually) to understand how you work and how to find your deeper, more meaningful ‘why’.  And let’s face it – we all have a deeper story, we just need to take the time to uncover it and make sure we fully understand it, and forge the right path to our own self-love.

The panel included Optimism Doctor™ Deepika Chopra, Rae Wellness CEO Angie Tebbe, Writer/Educator/Organizer/CuratorMahogany L. Browne, Sexologist Shan Boodram, and Good Housekeeping Style Director Lori Bergamotto.  And each of the women had an incredibly unique take on self-love and nourishment.  Deepika spoke to gratitude and how to manifest optimism through daily rituals.  Shan discussed her perspective on sexual health and wellness, and how this taboo topic needs to continue to gain momentum with women.  Mahogany detailed how writing and journaling can be life-changing if you are honest in your truths – even the daily, seemingly small ones.  And Angie pushed on how women are outputting so much on a daily basis – and that in order to sustain, we must nourish ourselves from the inside out through nutrition.

Stay tuned for more details as we profile many of the messages from this evening, and go deeper with each of the panelists, one on one.
